This week, on September 16th, fans around the world will be celebrating one of pop culture’s most iconic DC Comics superheroes, Batman.  Batman Day is one of our favorite days of the year so it only makes sense that this week’s Alternative Movie Poster Monday theme is for “Batman.”  This week we are focusing on Matt Reeve’s incredible film for Gotham’s Detective, “The Batman.”

Here are a couple of official posters: the black one is an official U.S. poster and the other one is a sensational, official Korean poster.

Batman ventures into Gotham City’s underworld when a sadistic killer leaves behind a trail of cryptic clues. As the evidence begins to lead closer to home and the scale of the perpetrator’s plans become clear, he must forge new relationships, unmask the culprit and bring justice to the abuse of power and corruption that has long plagued the metropolis.
