It’ll fight if it has to,

but it’s vulnerable out in the open.

If it takes us over, then it has no more enemies,

nobody left to kill it.

Like many of you, we are huge fans of the 1982, science fiction, horror movie, ‘The Thing.’  Directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell as helicopter pilot and all around badass, R.J. MacReady, it’s a dark, terrifying delight and has some special effects that are off the charts.

“U.S. Outpost #31, Antarctica, 1982—Twelve men are commissioned to gather physical and natural science data. It is the dead of winter. With six months of darkness ahead of them, they uncover the find of the century. Of a thousand centuries. If only they could put it back.”

Here’s a look at the original theatrical poster along with a German poster for the film.

Today we pay homage to this iconic film with the latest version of Alternative Movie Poster Monday
