Annie Jacobsen is a Pulitzer Prize finalist and the New York Times bestselling author.  We are huge fans of her work and absolutely flabbergasted by the amount of detail and research that goes into her books.  We have quite the Jacobsen library here are Blurppy Plus headquarters:

Her new book may just be, as we said in the title, “the scariest story you will ever read.”  The book is called “Nuclear War: A Scenario” and unlike Hollywood’s versions of this scenario in various films, this is all too real and there is no one in capes coming to our rescue.  Here is the official synopsis:
