Recently we saw Seth Rogan’s “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem” at the theaters and we loved it. Apparently a LOT of you liked it as well because Rotten Tomatoes has the film with a 91% audience score. Well artist Royalston Design REALLY loved it and has created a mock-up of what HE thinks the soundtrack could look like.
Royalston Design combined the power of the TMNT and infused it with THE greatest innovators in rap, hip-hop and gangsta-rap, NWA. The end result is something that we would buy in a heartbeat if it were for sale. Check it out.
Royalston Design took to his X account to share the art and this is what he had to say: “You are now about to witness the strength of street knowledge. Had to make something for the new #TMNTMovie and couldn’t resist paying tribute to NWA. The soundtrack to this movie is so good so here’s an album cover for it.
I started off just wanting to draw an album cover, but then thought I may as well go the whole hog and mockup a disc and case. And then you may as well mock-up a vinyl sleeve while you’re at it.
As we said, we would GLADLY throw down some cash for the colored vinyl but let us know what you think down in the comments section. Be sure to follow Royalston Design on Instagram to see more of his amazing art. Now go find that old N.W.A. tape you have packed away and turn it up, make some friends in the neighborhood or at the beach.
