The global phenomenon that is “Spider-Man: Across The Spider-Verse” knows no bounds.  Fans are ravenous for anything related to the film, posters, action figures, and even Miles Morales’ signature style, Air Jordan 1 sneakers.  (Those shoes sold out in record time.  I mean seriously, just check them out below and you will see why!)

Like many of you, we missed out on these shoes and like many of you, we were bummed out.  That being said, we COULD get them on the after-market, for quite a bit more money, BUT, we COULD get our hands on them IF we were willing to dole out the cheddar.  These next shoes, are SO limited, SO cool, that IF they ever become available on the after-market, we will NEVER be able to afford them and that is a HUGE IF.  The folks that got these are NOT going to part with them and here is why.

Jordan Brand partnered with Sony Pictures to create a sensational iteration of the Air Jordan 1 Utility Stash sneaker and they are calling it, “The Prowler.” (SPOILER ALERT!  In the film, when Miles Morales was in a different universe called ‘Earth 42‘ there was a different version of the character known as ‘The Prowler‘ and he was the inspiration for this sneaker.)  Check out these images courtesy of Sole Savy and let the drooling begin.  (The shoes come with additional pink and purple laces but have not Spider-Man branding on them.)

Dope right?  Well don’t get too hyped because only 100 pairs were made and they were given to select members of Sony Pictures as well as select member of the Jordan Brand.  Last time we checked, we don’t fall into either category so it’s pretty safe to say they WON’T be showing up in our mailbox.  Sneakerheads everywhere are screaming, “100 PAIRS!? THAT’S IT!?”  I guess we’ll have to reach out to Shameik Moore to see if he still wants HIS pair.  (Certainly they sent him a pair right?)  What do you think about this limited edition, “friends and family” exclusive shoe?  Sound off below.
