Look, we know a LOT of you are absorbed with all things Barbie and Oppenheimer. Truth is, there is nothing wrong with that. Polar opposite films but both have great casts and each one is highly entertaining in its own right.
What you MAY have missed is a new horror, thriller from Lionsgate called “Cobweb.” The film is Samuel Bodin’s directorial debut and is produced by the dynamic duo of Seth Rogan and Evan Goldberg. The film stars: Lizzy Caplan (Carol), Woody Norman (Peter), Cleopatra Coleman (Miss Devine), Antony Starr (Mark).
Eight-year-old Peter is plagued by a mysterious, constant tap, tap from inside his bedroom wall – a tapping that his parents insist is all in his imagination. As Peter’s fear intensifies, he believes that his parents (Lizzy Caplan and Antony Starr) could be hiding a terrible, dangerous secret and questions their trust. And for a child, what could be more frightening than that?
I don’t know about you but I’m not down for odd tapping or my closet door opening by itself in the middle of the night. Personally, the first thing I would have done if I was Peter is get some better damn lighting in my room! Now that you have binged Barbie and Oppenheimer go see Cobweb in theaters now.
