One of our most anticipated TV series for 2023 is coming to Disney Plus this August 31st.  Star Wars fans everywhere are eagerly awaiting the return of their favorite Togruta, “Ahsoka.”  Played PERFECTLY by Rosario Dawson in the second season of “The Mandalorian,” we NOW get her own story line and we…can’t….WAIT!

Set after the fall of the Empire, “Ahsoka” follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.  Bring on Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Shin Hati, Baylan Skoll, Mon Mothma, Grand Admiral Thrawn and dare we hope…Ezra?

When asked if “Ahsoka” was a new season of “Star Wars Rebels” show writer Dave Filoni had this to say in an interview with Entertainment Weekly. “That’s an interesting question, I suppose that’s one way of looking at it, because of the epilogue that I did in Rebels. Definitely, all signs are indicating that there’s a continuation.” 

YES!
