It’s spooky season so we took a trip down the creepy, overgrown, dark and foreboding path in the forest to an old passion project the Poster Posse did for the 2020 dark fantasy, horror film “Gretel & Hansel: A Grim Fairy Tale.”  Offering a disturbing and haunting interpretation of the German folklore tale “Hansel and Gretel” by the Brothers Grimm, “Gretel & Hansel” is a creepy, watch through your fingers film which exudes an eerie atmosphere that gave us the heebie-jeebies.

“A long time ago in a distant fairy tale countryside, a young girl leads her little brother into a dark wood in desperate search of food and work, only to stumble upon a nexus of terrifying evil.”  Directed by Oz Perkins, “Gretel & Hansel: A Grim Fairy Tale” stars: Sophia Lillis, Samuel Leakey and Alice Krige.
