…and by BIG screen, we are talking about IMAX but… if there were a screen even BIGGER, we’d want to watch it on THAT!  This film looks bad-ass and we can’t wait for Gojira to unleash is atomic breath!  Today we got a new trailer so take a look and let us know what YOU think.

“The movie takes place in Japan circa 1945-1947. After the war, Japan has been reduced to zero.  Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state. Against the most desperate situation in the history of Japan, how — and with whom — will Japan stand up to it?”

The Toho film opens in Japan TODAY marking the 69th anniversary of the original Godzilla film that was released way back in 1954!  The big guy has been stomping his way into fans hearts ever since and as you can see in this new trailer, he doesn’t mess around!

Godzilla Minus One will have special Early Access Event Screenings on Wednesday, November 29 in IMAX and large format theaters across the United States before opening in theaters nationwide on December 1.

Written and directed by Takashi Yamazaki (Godzilla the Ride) and featuring music by Naoki Sato, Godzilla Minus One stars stars Ryunosuke Kamiki as Koichi Shikishima and Minami Hamabe as Noriko Oishi, Yuki Yamada as Shiro Mizushima, Munetaka Aoki as Sosaku Tachibana, Hidetaka Yoshioka as Kenji Noda, Sakura Ando as Sumiko Ota, and Kuranosuke Sasaki as Seiji Akitsu.
