On Friday, June 21, 2023, Disney Plus begins streaming the next live-action entry into the MCU, “Secret Invasion,” and we…can’t….wait!  “Secret Invasion” boasts a fantastic cast including Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Mendelsohn, Cobie Smulders, Martin Freeman, Kingsley Ben-Adir, Killian Scott, Charlayne Woodard, Christopher McDonald, Samuel Adewunmi, Dermot Mulroney, Katie Finneran, with Emilia Clarke, Olivia Colman, and Don Cheadle.

Why is Fury the most wanted man on the planet?  Could Rhodey be a Skrull? (PLEASE don’t let it be Maria Hill, ANYONE but MARIA!) What do “they” have planned for him? Just what is in the specimen sample container and just why will this be “one last fight?”  All these questions will be asked and HOPEFULLY answered starting June 21.

After being off-world for some time, Nick Fury returns to our big blue marble, (sans his signature eye patch) to stand up against a threat, the likes we have never seen and it’s personal.  As we are all counting the days until this story unfolds, Marvel Studios has released a set of character posters for the series.  Take a look and let us know if YOU are as hyped for this series as we are.

“In Marvel Studios’ new series “Secret Invasion,” set in the present day MCU, Nick Fury learns of a clandestine invasion of Earth by a faction of shapeshifting Skrulls. Fury joins his allies, including Everett Ross, Maria Hill and the Skrull Talos, who has made a life for himself on Earth. Together they race against time to thwart an imminent Skrull invasion and save humanity.”
