Plastic Cell has some mighty fine sculpture/ figures in their line up and today we shall be sharing their current offerings for everyone’s favorite mutants, The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.  (Who did you think we were talking about.)

They currently have Raphael Version 2, Leonardo Version 2, The Last Ronin (Our favorite), Foot Clan, and last but not least, The Shredder.  Let’s take a look and we will include links for you to snag your own.

RAPHAEL VERSION 2

This variant was inspired by the memorable trench coat disguise worn by Raphael in the 1990 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles film. To ensure that I captured the true essence of the character, I revisited the movie, immersing myself in the story once again. The nostalgic feelings that washed over me were indescribable, evoking a flood of cherished memories. One scene that particularly resonated with me was Raphael’s initial encounter with Casey Jones. I was captivated by Raphael’s suave display of his sai before engaging in a thrilling battle with Casey. It was a moment that showcased Raphael’s confidence and determination. With this sculpture, my goal was to immortalize that very instant, freezing it in time. From the meticulous rendering of the trench coat’s texture to the confidence expression on Raphael’s face, I tried hard to bring this iconic moment to life

FOOT CLAN

In the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles comics, the Foot Clan was created by Oroku Saki, who would later become known as the villainous Shredder. Saki was a member of the Foot Clan in Japan, but was banished after a conflict with the Clan’s leader. Seeking revenge, Saki moved to New York City and began recruiting members to form his own version of the Foot Clan, which he used to carry out his criminal activities. He adopted the identity of the Shredder and became a powerful and feared figure in the criminal underworld. The Foot Clan’s origins have been explored and expanded upon in various adaptations of the franchise, but the core elements of Saki’s vendetta against his former clan and his desire for power and revenge

THE SHREDDER

OROKU SAKI 大六咲

In the early 90s my brothers Phien, Andy, Phuong and I were obsessed with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT). We were introduced to the TMNT through the arcade game. I remember a time when our mom used to drop us off at the Asian Garden Mall (Phuoc Loc Tho) where we would spend countless hours playing the game at the arcade. I can still vividly remember the sound of coins dropping into the arcade slot and button smashing.  We were hooked on everything else TMNT related too.  We watched the cartoon series, the movies, read the comic books, and collected the figurines. As an adult, TMNT still holds a place in our hearts because it reminds us of a time where the most important thing we had to do was beat the final boss together as brothers. Growing up being such huge fans of TMNT, we would have never imagined having the opportunity to collaborate with Nickelodeon to create a limited edition sculptures. ~The Tran Brothers
