Fan’s of the iconic 1997 video game “Fallout” are drawn to its groundbreaking blend of immersive storytelling, deep role-playing elements, and a richly detailed post-apocalyptic world. Set in a dystopian future where a nuclear war has ravaged the Earth, “Fallout” invites players into a gritty, retro-futuristic universe filled with danger, intrigue, and a haunting sense of desolation.

The game’s protagonist, known simply as the ‘Vault Dweller,’ is a character that fans have come to adore. Emerging from the safety of Vault 13, the Vault Dweller embarks on a critical quest to find a replacement water purification chip to save their underground community. Along the journey, players encounter a diverse cast of characters, each with their own unique stories and motivations.

Memorable characters like ‘Ian,’ a skilled gunman who can become a companion, and the enigmatic super mutant leader known as ‘The Master,’ add layers of complexity and moral ambiguity to the narrative. “Fallout” is not just a game; it’s a rich, interactive experience that allows players to explore themes of survival, humanity, and the consequences of choices in a world forever changed by nuclear catastrophe.

Prime Video is almost ready to unleash their TV series based off the game and fans are counting the days until it premiers exclusively on Prime Video on April 12th.  We’ve gathered some videos and images to help pass the time until you binge the series this April.

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. 200 years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind — and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird and highly violent universe waiting for them. From executive producers Jonathan Nolan, (Nolan directs the first three episodes) and Lisa Joy, the creators of Westworld, starring Ella Purnell, Aaron Moten, Walton Goggins and more.

Ella Purnell plays “Lucy” – Lucy is an optimistic Vault Dweller with an all-American can-do spirit. Her peaceful and idealistic nature is tested when people harm her loved ones.

 

Aaron Moten plays “Maximus” – A young soldier hides his tragic past as he serves in a militaristic faction called Brotherhood of Steel. He believes in the nobility of the Brotherhood’s mission to bring law and order to the Wasteland, and will do anything to further their goals.

 

Walton Goggins plays “The Ghoul” – The Ghoul survives the wasteland as a Bounty Hunter. He is pragmatic, ruthless, and hides a mysterious past.

 

Kyle MacLachlan plays “Overseer Hank” – Hank is the Overseer of Vault 33 and Lucy’s father. He is eager to change the world for the better.

 

CX404 will be featured in the series as a companion navigating the post-apocalyptic world.
