Yep, you heard us right, after years of waiting, fans are finally getting an open-world Star Wars video game.  “Star Wars Outlaws” has been eagerly awaited by fans who dream of exploring a galaxy far, far away and today we got the world premier trailer.   We also get our first look at Kay Vess and Nix and after watching the trailer, they are going to take us on one hell of an adventure.

Experience the first-ever open world Star War game, set between the events of ‘The Empire Strikes Back’ and ‘Return of the Jedi.’ Explore distinct planets across the galaxy, both iconic and new. Risk it all as Kay Vess, an emerging scoundrel seeking freedom and the means to start a new life, along with her companion Nix. Fight, steal, and outwit your way through the galaxy’s crime syndicates as you join the galaxy’s most wanted.

Star Wars Outlaws invites you to play as cunning scoundrel Kay Vess (Humberly González), who – along with her loyal companion Nix (Dee Bradley Baker) – must pull off one of the greatest heists the Outer Rim has ever seen.

Yes, poor Han is still frozen in Carbonite and Stormtroopers probably still can’t hit a moving target but we are still trying to wrap our head around how incredible it will be to explore an open-world video game set in the Star Wars Universe!  Our fingers are crossed that Ubisoft’s Massive Entertainment and Lucasfilm Games have completely NAILED it with this one because we are MORE than willing to spend countless hours planet hopping, stealing from The Empire and shooting down Tie Fighters.
