We truly wonder if Tobin Wolf, who created the ThunderCats, back in the mid 80’s if he could TRULY appreciate how awesome they were or would become.  Even their names were rad: Lion O, Cheetara, Bengali, Tygra, Panthro… just really frickin’ cool stuff.  I mean, really, ‘Thundarians‘ (aka feline extra-terrestrials) from the ailing planet of ‘Thundera‘ looking for a new home in the vast cosmos…. it doesn’t get much better than that!

Their original animated series ran from 1985 – 1989 which immediately inspired a sick line of action figures.  Now, flash forward 34 years, and the folks at Super7 are ready to take all our money but not before they thrust us back into our childhood with a spectacular new play set.
