When it comes to comic books, one of our all-time favorites is the brilliantly talented, multiple Eisner winning comic creator, Christian Ward.  He has worked on a plethora of comic books and his art is INSTANTLY recognizable.

Imagine our excitement when DC revealed an upcoming Black Label mini-series featuring our favorite comic book character, written and illustrated by the one and only, Christian Ward, “Batman: City of Madness.”  (Check out an interview between Christian and Forbidden Planet TV at the end of this article.)

The story starts below Gotham in a horrific mirror-world that the Court of Owls has kept at bay and the Dark Knight encounters a sinister version of himself.  Things go horribly wrong and Batman finds himself in a position where he needs to work WITH the Court of Owls to reign over the chaos that ensues.  “Batman: City of Madness” will be a three-part prestige format mini-series and honestly… we…can’t…WAIT!  “Batman: City of Madness #1” will be at a comic book store near you on October 1st.  Here is what DC has to say about this must read series.
