Grab a slice of pizza and get ready!  From the mind of “permanent teenage” Seth Rogen, Paramount Pictures, Nickelodeon Movies, and Point Grey Productions‘ comes the trailer for an all-new CG-animated theatrical film, “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.” (We realize that title is a mouthful, just go with it.)

Since 1984, when Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird created these four skateboarding, anthropomorphic turtle brothers trained in ninjutsu to fight evil in New York City, the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, (TMNT), have been a fan favorite in the lexicon of pop culture.  What began as a comic book series, has morphed into films, television series, video games, merch and more.

On August 2nd of this year, fans can delve head first into Seth Rogen’s vision of these green ninjas as they battle together in “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem.”  Here is a look at the first trailer and the official synopsis from Paramount Pictures.

In Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Mutant Mayhem, after years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers through heroic acts. Their new friend April O’Neil helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
