“We do not know why we are here…
We do not know who built the silo….
We do not know why everything outside the silo is as it is…
We do not know when it will be safe to go outside…
We only know THAT day is not THIS day…”
Pretty ominous start to a story which is why we are beyond intrigued for the new Apple TV + series, “Silo.” Based off the post-apocalyptic science fiction trilogy of books by American writer Hugh Howey “Silo” boasts an impressive cast including: Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash, David Oyelow, Rashida Jones, Tim Robbins and Rebecca Ferguson (who is also an executive producer.)
Here is what Apple TV + had to say about the series. “Silo” is the story of the last ten thousand people on earth, their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. However, no one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.
Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined, leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.
