It was only a matter of time until we got around to the brilliance of Laika Studios feature films. With sensational stop motion films that include: “Box Trolls“, “Coraline” and “Kubo and the Two Strings“under their belt, we couldn’t wait to pay homage to their sensational work.
This brings us to their 2012 hit, “ParaNorman.” “Paranorman” is the first stop-motion film to use a 3-D color printer to create character faces, and only the second to be shot in 3-D. The story centers around eleven year old, Norman Babcock and his bizarre ability to talk to the dead. Norman is given the daunting challenge of ending a witches 300 year old curse by his deranged great-uncle, Mr. Prenderghast, and of course mayhem ensues.
Here are official domestic and an international posters for the movie followed by our tribute to Laika’s “ParaNorman.”
