In 1989 Patrick Swayze played James Dalton as a “cooler” at a roadside bar in a small town in Missouri.  He kicked ass, got his ass kicked, confronted the bad guys and…. sorry, no spoilers.  Flash forward 35 years and Prime Video is bringing Dalton BACK.  This time out he is played by Jake Gyllenhaal, and his nemesis is Conor McGregor.

In this adrenaline-fueled reimagining of the 80s cult classic, ex-UFC fighter Dalton (Jake Gyllenhaal) takes a job as a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse, only to discover that this paradise is not all it seems.

Personally, we love the opening fight scene outside the bar with him slapping a group of guys who seem intent on teaching him a lesson. (Especially the double slap at the end.)  Here are some images from the trailer.  Let us know if you will have this on your watch list in March.
