It has been a long wait, 5 years to be exact, but Travis Scott is FINALLY about to drop his new album, “Utopia.”  His last album, “Astro World” came out in 2018 and it won the BET Hip Hop awards coveted, “Album of the Year” trophy.  The album was STACKED with talent including guest vocals from Frank Ocean, Drake, Swae Lee, Kid Cudi, James Blake, Philip Bailey, Juice Wrld, the Weeknd, 21 Savage, Gunna, Don Toliver, Quavo, and Takeoff, among others.

With “Utopia” a mere few hours away from dropping, it has a lot to live up to as far as popularity and rankings.  “Astro World” went triple platinum and birthed 5 platinum singles to boot.  If we had to guess, “Utopia” will have another stellar lineup of collaborations.  Speaking of collabs, the first single, a Latin-inspired pop ditty, “K-POP” features collaborations with Bad Bunny and The Weekend.

“Utopia” will drop at 9 PM PST on 7/27/23 and will have multiple album covers for fans to spend their hard earned money on.  Take a look below at “Utopia’s” vinyl offerings.

In addition to the music and the merch, which will be HUGE, Travis is also releasing a film on the very same day.  Titled, “Circus Maximus” not much else is known about it, yet.  Here is SOME news from AMC Theaters as well as the trailer and official poster.

The description for “Circus Maximus” over on AMC’s ticket portal reads as follows: “Prepare to enter Circus Maximus as Travis Scott takes his audience on a mind-bending visual odyssey across the globe, woven together by the speaker rattling sounds of his highly anticipated upcoming album Utopia. The film is a surreal and psychedelic journey, uniting a collective of visionary filmmakers from around the world in a kaleidoscopic exploration of human experience and the power of soundscapes.”

There IS a lil’ bit of controversy about “Circus Maximus.”  If you look at the poster closely, it says that it is being produced by A24.  That’s all fine and dandy but A24 has come out and said they have no part in this film so time will tell the truth on this one.  Regardless, it’s Travis F’n Scott and we want it all, the music the film, the tour, the merch… bring it on!
