… and we’re PISSED!  There, we said it.  It doesn’t get us any of the highly desirable product from this massive collaboration but it briefly took away some of the pain we recently felt when we realized… we were too late.  Now, if you don’t want to have a similar reaction of disappointment, STOP READING NOW.  What we are about to share with you will immediately have you reaching for your wallet but… put it away, because THEY ARE NOT AVAILABLE ANYMORE.

So let’s back up a bit.  Marvel did a massive collaboration with Kith, ASICS and Upper Deck to celebrate the X-men 60th anniversary.  We are old school sneaker fanatics so this one stings even more.  They created sensational products for Storm, Beast, Cyclops, Gambit, Rogue, and our favorite, Wolverine.  Here is the shoe portion of what was released through Kith.

In an exclusive collaboration with Marvel, Kith and ASICS reimagine the GEL-LYTE III, honoring the 60th anniversary of the X-Men franchise. Designed in seven X-Men-inspired colorways and materials–including one ultra limited-edition holographic silhouette–each sneaker arrives as a mystery, packaged in a co-branded blind box.

Reminiscent of the anticipation for the unknown when tearing open a pack of trading cards, the Marvel | Kith for ASICS GEL-LYTE III Remastered arrives in a custom blind box, showcasing co-branded all-over Kith, Marvel, and ASICS artwork. Carefully remove its tearaway seal to reveal a holographic mylar bag concealing one of the seven limited-edition pairs. Each blind box will also include one newly created and encased Marvel | Kith for Upper Deck trading card featuring the character of the received model. Trading cards range in rarity with some select cards featuring PSA-graded tabs.
