Taylor Swift had a pretty good weekend. Not only did she win her 13th and 14th Grammy awards BUT, she let her legion of fans know that a new album is on the way AND even better, we don’t have long to wait. Upon winning her 13th Grammy she returned the favor to her fans by casually announced the good news about her upcoming album.
“I want to say thank you to the members of the recording academy for voting this way but I know that the way that the recording academy voted is a direct reflection of the fans so I want to say thank you to the fans and by telling you a secret that I’ve been keeping from you for the last 2 years. Which is that my brand new album comes out April 19th. It’s called, “The Tortured Poets Department.” I’m going to go and post the cover, right now, backstage. Thank you, I LOVE YOU!” – Taylor Swift
